How to Wash your Face:
How often do you wash your face? You are tired, slightly cranky, and had a busy day. Cant you just go to bed without washing your face? Well, in reality we wash our faces most often, absent mindedly without knowing the hazards of improper and insufficient cleansing. If you go to bed without washing the face, its most like to losing the golden opportunity as proper cleansing of facial skin prior sleeping at night is essential for blood circulation and for managing the various metabolic processes that are constantly running inside our bodies. 

Below is the recommended method for facial cleansing that should be incorporated in you daily hygiene routine.

Apply a cleanser on your face to remove any product that has been applied on your face including foundation prior to washing your face. Focus on the area around your nose and eyes, specifically as these can be comparatively difficult areas to cleanse and may even be breeding grounds for harmful bacteria. In case of use sunscreen use a cleansing oil to get rid of the product free skin, wash your face with lukewarm water, take a small amount of face wash; apply it with your fingers on your face in circular motion to encourage blood circulation. Massage your face gently. Rinse your face and dry it with soft towel.

The question remains the same, how often should clean their face? Every morning or every night or just once at night?

According to dermatologists over washing can cause itching and a lack of moisturizer. So try to wash your face at least twice a day. If you have an extremely oily skin clean your face in the morning and the evening too. if your skin is very sensitive or dry, stick to cleansing once in the morning.
Avoid using hot water, hot water may cause harmful for your skin. And also avoid over scrubbing and massaging because it causes irritable and redness. It is recommended to take mild steam to soften pores and get rid of excess oil stored in them.
It is very important to know about your skin type. Once you are aware about your skin type buy a cleanser accordingly. If you have dry skin you may prefer formulas with moisturizers, like glycerin. And if your skin is oily you might want a foaming wash that leaves the skin feeling super clean with a shine. But no matter what type of skin you have, remember not to be use any cleanser that contains fragrance, because it cause irritation and might possibly be a harsh soap that will make your skin dry.
If you have applied a facial scrub or a facial soap, leave it on for a minute so it can gently exfoliate the skin.  Salicylic or glycolic acid cleansers are mild and more helpful than the grainy scrubs. And both offer anti- aging benefits and help prevent breakouts too. Use the scrub on alternate days with your daily face wash starting with three days a week. Stop using it. If you feel redness and itching on your skin.

You want to keep your PH level balanced? A gentle toner with the right cleanser will do that but you don’t need really this step. Its optional, as an alcohol based toner strips off natural oils. So be careful when getting a toner. It is ideal to use alcohol free ones.
If you have dry skin you can use a good moisturizer, in the end for healthy glowing look.
