The latest buzz in Bollywood is that Sushmita Sen has finally decided to make it official with former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram. The duo who met on the sets of a reality show a couple of years back, reportedly got closer to each other following the death of Akram’s wife Huma last October. Though the actress has frequently denied news of an impending marriage, the buzz is strong this time around that the two will get married by the end of this month.
And the venue is likely to be Dubai where Akram is a frequent visitor and Sen owns a jewellery shop.
The former Miss Universe is known for leading a bohemian lifestyle – with her personal life gaining more media space than her acting career. Be it her adoption of two girls or her relationships with directors Vikram Bhatt, Mudassar Aziz and Manav Menon, the actress has never acted coy about her personal life.
We just hope the relationship has a smooth sailing unlike the Sania Mirza-Shoaib Malik wedding drama that was played out in the India-Pakistan media.
